From Zurich, FREITAG reintroduces the shoulder bag “F171 LAURA,” this time with a renewed focus on feminine aesthetics while bringing early-2000s sensibilities into the present.

Originally released in 2003 and discontinued in 2011, the F171 LAURA returns after roughly 15 years. As Y2K style resurfaces across major cities worldwide, the bag finds new relevance among urban individuals who value personal expression.

While retaining its original silhouette, the updated version 1.1 introduces subtle refinements. The design leans more minimal, and the strap has been extended and stabilized—allowing it to be worn not only as a shoulder bag but also as a crossbody.

What remains unchanged is its one-of-a-kind nature. Each piece is made from upcycled truck tarps sourced across Europe, resulting in unique colors and textures. Built with durability in mind and designed for easy repair, the bag is made to last.

Rooted in the past yet oriented toward the present and future, the F171 LAURA returns as a product that moves across time—re-entering everyday life with renewed perspective.
