KANGOL × TRUENO. A New Collaboration Built Around the “Bermuda Casual”

British headwear brand KANGOL has teamed up with Argentine rapper Trueno on a new collaboration, celebrating his visit to Japan.

Having grown alongside New York’s street culture and music scene, KANGOL chose the “Bermuda Casual” bell-shaped hat as the base for the collaboration—a style Trueno has long worn himself. An original TRUENO logo is embroidered on the opposite side of the signature KANGOL logo, allowing the hat to be worn from either direction.

The collaboration arrives following Trueno’s powerful performance on the Green Stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL.

Speaking about the project, Trueno described KANGOL as “a very important brand” to him, highlighting the brand’s significance within hip-hop and its influence on streetwear and culture as a whole. He also spoke about the connection he feels with KANGOL and the cultural significance of bringing together an Argentine artist and a brand with such deep roots in street culture.

“Being able to collaborate with KANGOL as an Argentine artist—and to see this kind of international connection happen despite the distance—means a lot to my country, culturally, and to me personally and what this movement represents,” Trueno said. “I think this is one of the greatest discoveries I’ve made through fashion, because KANGOL is one of the brands closest to my culture.”

The KANGOL x TRUENO BERUMUDA CASUAL will be available in a limited quantity from 12:00 PM on Friday, July 28, at the KANGOL ONLINE STORE and the Kangol Headwear flagship store.
