The two previously converged on the runway for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 show, staged as a joint presentation featuring UA’s live performance. FUMIE TANAKA also created the costumes worn during UA’s “30th Anniversary Live” held in Osaka and Tokyo last June, further shaping the visual language around the milestone.
This latest project draws inspiration from UA’s 30th-anniversary album NEWME, translating the mood of the title track “NEWME” and “ZOMBIE feat. NIJIRO MURAKAMI” into graphic long-sleeve T-shirts and standard tees.
The items will be available in advance at venues on the upcoming “UA ‘NEWME 026’” tour starting February 27, before rolling out on the UA Official Goods Online Store. A meeting point of music and fashion, the collaboration continues to evolve on stage and beyond.
