Paying homage to the brand’s roots in bike culture, the new lineup features three versatile silhouettes that can be worn as crossbody bags or mounted directly onto a bicycle. The collection blends functionality with FREITAG’s signature approach to individuality and upcycling.
Founded in 1993 after two brothers set out to create a durable, water-resistant messenger bag in their Zurich apartment, FREITAG has long been associated with one-of-a-kind bags made from recycled truck tarps. Over the past three decades, the brand has built a distinctive identity around urban mobility, sustainability, and self-expression.
The new EASY RIDERS series continues that legacy through three models:
The F140 FRAN serves as a versatile handlebar bag, the F141 BERYL is designed to complement a bike’s top tube as a frame bag, and the F142 HEINZ functions as a compact saddle bag that doubles as a statement piece.
Beyond adding bold color accents to bicycles, the bags are also intended to reduce the burden of carrying items on the back, allowing for a more relaxed riding experience. Each model also features a removable strap made with repurposed truck reflectors, helping improve visibility in dense urban traffic.
Off the bike, the bags transition easily into everyday crossbody bags, offering a balance between practicality and understated design. Rather than entering the high-tech cycling gear space, FREITAG positions the collection as a more relaxed approach to urban, engine-free mobility.
As with all FREITAG products, every bag is made from used truck tarps, making each piece entirely unique. The collection reflects the brand’s long-standing commitment to bike culture, individuality, and upcycling.
The EASY RIDERS collection is available at FREITAG stores, selected retailers, and through freitag.ch.
