American outdoor brand Marmot has announced the release of its second collaboration with all-weather label Alwayth. The new Alwayth Equalizer W.R. Shorts will launch on July 22, 2026.
Following the rapid sell-out of the previous Equalizer Parka, the latest collaboration brings its distinctive color palette and signature detailing to a pair of shorts. The design also reflects the aesthetic sensibility that Alwayth designer “Shi” has long admired.
The shorts are constructed from a lightweight nylon-cotton fabric that combines breathability and durability, finished with a water-repellent treatment. Functional details include side hand pockets, a zippered security pocket on the rear, curved reflective accents on the front and back, and a reflective drawcord at the waist. A soft school-yellow mesh lining completes the interior.
Designed with Japan’s increasingly hot summers in mind, the shorts balance everyday comfort with outdoor functionality, embodying Marmot’s long-standing “FOR LIFE” philosophy.
