Oakley has unveiled Infiniloop, a new concept model that transforms the idea of “infinity” into a wearable design.
Developed through an experimental prototyping process, Infiniloop explores the geometry of a single continuous line. By reducing the structural elements required to support the lens across the face to an absolute minimum, the design arrives at a strikingly minimal form.
The frame combines two distinct materials: titanium on the upper section and Oakley’s proprietary O-Matter™ on the lower section. Connected at only a few subtle contact points, the construction creates expansive negative space, giving the lens the appearance of floating within the frame while emphasizing its architectural silhouette.
Finished in Polished Chrome and Matte Black with Prizm™ Black lenses, Infiniloop will be released as a limited-edition model. The piece brings together experimental design, Oakley’s performance-driven engineering, and the appeal of a collectible object.
The project is rooted in Future Genesis, Oakley’s narrative platform that inspires new products, technologies, and brand concepts. Future Genesis serves as both a storytelling universe and a framework for product innovation.
Coinciding with the launch, Oakley will also release the collector’s edition of the comic book Future Genesis: Chapter 2. The story follows the return of the brand’s heroine, Maxine Fearlight, whose unconventional journey reshapes her life. Infiniloop expands on the same fictional universe that inspired its design.
Infiniloop will be available in limited quantities from July 15 through Oakley’s official online store and Oakley Store Shibuya. Sales at the Shibuya store will be conducted via lottery, with entry available at Oakley stores nationwide.
