RUSSELL ATHLETIC x BerBerJin Launch Their First Collaboration

RUSSELL ATHLETIC, known worldwide as the first brand to create the prototype of the sweatshirt, is releasing its first-ever collaboration with Harajuku vintage shop BerBerJin. Four unique items will drop on Saturday, January 17.
For this collaboration, a variety of RUSSELL ATHLETIC’s signature sweatshirt fabrics are used as the base, each with distinct characteristics:

– The brand’s heaviest “PRO COTTON” from its long history
– HIGH COTTON, a smooth blend of cotton and polyester
– Sweatshirts with pile backing
– Medium-weight reverse fleece

Drawing inspiration from vintage pieces encountered by BerBerJin’s Mr. Makita during buying trips in the U.S., the collaboration faithfully recreates the original details and mood of the era.
